The Beach Boys fell 3-1 in a shortened game Wednesday afternoon.
Damon Sublett was the DH and went 1 for 3. Austin Romine was behind the plate, but hitless in the game.

Earlier in the day, play continued in the Arizona Fall League. Down 5-0 in the fourth, the Javelinas came back with 7 runs to take the lead. Austin Jackson had an RBI single in the big frame, and Jeff Marquez earned a hold with 2 innings of 1-hit relief. The Javelinas moved to 2-0 as they held on to win 8-7.
