1. Waikiki Beachboys were shutout in a crisp 2-0 game. No Yankee players in the game.
2. No AFL action today. Sunday, it appears, is a day of rest in the league.
3. If certain NFL perennials don't stop dragging their feet, they are in serious danger of being shutout of the playoffs.
4. And in case you haven't heard, the Red Sox have been shut out of the World Series.
5. One exception: Justin Christian was 1-for-5 with an RBI in a 6-4 win for the Mochis.
